Red Roof Inn Detroit - Dearborn/Greenfield Village

I'm going through a tough time in life rn, and being able to get some help to have a few days to sleep in a nice warm bed has been really nice. The staff is very kind and lovely to interact with, and the rooms are kept very clean. I've stayed in some seedy motels before, growing up; this is not one of them! No bed bugs, and as for the people crying "roach!"--they likely dont live in or have lived in the Dearborn area. Theyre very very common, and often has nothing to do with cleanliness. More to do with the physical environment. Yet I didn't have to deal with really anything bad in general during my stay. Thank you!

My significant other and I got us a room, when we went to go book our room the worker didn’t ask us how many days so we had to make multiple purchases in order to book a room for two nights. We also told her that we had pets. We winded up getting locked out of our room due to not getting charged pet fees. When we went to the front desk to ask what was going on they told us we had to make a third transaction in order to get into our room to our animals. When we got into our room there was still rose petals on the floor from previous people staying in the room. The bathtub was not cleaned properly. The dispensers in the bathroom offering shampoo/conditioner and shower gel were completely empty. I personally feel it was unprofessional that none of the staff came to let us know that we were no

Positive: I have been staying here every week for several years,what I like best is the front desk staff Negative: The beds are terrible they need new mattresses, most of the time the wall outlets don’t work, there is always damage to the furniture in the rooms, and the carpets are disgusting .

❗️Please do not stay here❗️ROACHES🪳❗️ I know it looks nice from the pictures. I understand that it is affordable, but my first mistake was not looking at the reviews.. I booked for two nights a couple days ago and got a double bed suite because it was the cheapest. When I got in there, it smelled like pure bleach, which was fine because I thought it was clean from Afar… Boy was I wrong! The carpet and floor was very dirty. There were gnats and flies everywhere I turned. I went to try to warm up some food. There was no plate in the microwave and it was gooey like it had been used and not cleaned. I addressed this issue to two of the hotel staff and they kept telling me they would get someone to clean it And no one showed. There was Mold all in the bathroom shower, Two roaches came crawling

Room was a disgusting hovel. I am pretty sure the room they gave me is a "street walker" room if you catch my drift. The sheets they gave were not clean and had bodily fluids on them and various stains. Dusty lamps, one lamp was missing a bulb. The mattresses looked like a horror show. The pillows had black spots on them which are bed bug poop stains. The entire place needs remodeled or torn down. They only accept a $50 cash only deposit which I've never had to do before, i found that very shady. I was able to receive a refund for the room as there is no way i would have let my family sleep there.
