Hampton Inn Baltimore Bayview Campus

Staff was really welcoming and very accommodating for the extra amenities we asked about. Check in was quick and easy with no hassle. We arrived an hour early for our check in and they let us in. Room was clean and neat and laid out well. The rest room was nice with a nice back light to the mirror. The shower had two shelves but unfortunately was now well repaired as one shelf was leaning off the wall. Looks like they did a quick fix with some putty that doesn't last. The big plus of how cold the room could get, the AC works amazingly. The breakfast in the morning was great and it opened on time. They had a decent spread of basic breakfast foods to get you started for the day.

My husband and I booked this and prepaid in advance. Upon arrival, the place seemed nice inside. At check in, we were not told that they oversold the king rooms. When we got to the room, it was two queens. My husband and I were traveling to celebrate a special event and would have liked the room we booked. I went to the front desk to let them know they gave us the wrong room and they said they knew and had oversold, but didn't let us know in advance. I asked for the manager to call me when they got back on duty at 9am the following day and never heard back. I would have liked some sort of compensation. I stayed here for 3 weeks and had a good experience overall. The service was great especially from a staff member named Natarsha. Breakfast and free parking are provided and the parking lot is spacious, usually not full. The rooms i stay are clean and the location is convenient if you have a car, with Canton nearby. However, there got no any walkable shops in the immediate area.

I have stayed at this hotel several times before and had always received excellent service, until today. Unfortunately, this experience was completely disappointing. On January 4, 2026, around 3:50 pm, when I arrived at the front desk, the receptionist named Tylor was on the phone and from the very beginning looked at me with clear disdain for my arrival. When I asked to check in, she responded in a very expressive, rude, and unpleasant manner that no, that check-in could only be done online.
