Hampton Inn Ashland

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was I travel for work. We worked well our day. So to me, it's just a place to sleep.|This is the closest to the location at the best price that was out there.| I've checked in late Thursday night, and Tracy was such a pleasure to be greeted by. GIve her 5 stars. I've never seen someone who genuinely was just happy and professional. And friendly the way she greeted me. She was always doing something she wasn't just sitting behind the desk on her phone every time I came in or one hour went by.She was either clean and making cookies checking the pole.Give her again five stars.||The room was very pleasing to the eyes. Excellent customer service. Rooms were very nice. The breakfast was good and had a nice variety and selection. The ladies at the front desk went above and beyond and packed a sack lunch with a sandwich, apple, bagel and bottle of water for the road for my three children. Great experience!

It was nice until you realized this hotel does not wash quilts/blankets when you smell opposite gender's cologne and armpit smell (I am a female). I do know they wash sheets and pillowcase. As it smelled clean.

Pretty basic hotel..."interesting "smells, in both the hallway and in the room itself. No snack bar or anything just a vending nook. One vending machine was completely out of everything, the other just took my money. At least the rooms were sort of clean? Won't be back

I can't complain at all! Staff is always friendly and professional. The rooms are clean. The breakfast hot. Right next to the highway, so you can get back on the road. No complaints at all🤷.
