Buyer beware First, let me say I work incredibly hard year-round and almost never get to take a week off. I took three days off to go to Lake George to spend with my daughter and her best friend before school started. I knew exactly which hotel I wanted to stay at. I went to The website listed to stay at the sundowner hotel, which is a part of Gregory hotels. I could have booked it on booking.com or priceline.com but I chose to go directly to sundown our website because I did not want there to be any confusion to which hotel I wanted to stay at. I arrived at sundowner hotel today, August 26 just as my confirmation on my email stated. After arriving, I was told by front desk staff that my reservation was actually for a different property. If I could give 0 stars I would. Their customer service is non existent, they don’t have a working landline everything is over text? The prices are cheaper on booking.com why would anyone book direct. Also booked a room and then was told I would have to pay an extra fee and there is a glitch in their computer which is why I wasn’t originally charged. I asked to speak to a manager and they wouldn’t let me? Instead of honoring the price they originally charged they just refunded me. Such a bizarre way of handling business.
