Great Western Inn

This place is great for the price. The age and building materials of the building do give it a stale smell when u arrive to a room that has been empty. Nothing some spray won't fix in about 3 minutes. But the rooms are clean and the floors aren't carpet I've not seen any bugs the water is hot and the TV works great. The lady running the front is very nice an helpful she's the reason it got 4 stars. I would suggest staying here to anyone needing to sleep and shower in a clean place for a night without paying over 100 dollars a night. Hope this review helps.

Worst ever and we've stayed in some awful places. But we were tired and had 4 pets to feed, so toughed it out. TV didn't work, not 1 trash can and sliding door didn't close, although there was a 2x3 to block it. 🙄 We were afraid to get under the bedspread, so slept on top in our clothes. Sink and toilet appeared clean, but shower was disgusting. One of our cats was enamored with a smell on the carpet by the sliding door..don't want to know. The "pool" was "nature inspired." It had cattails growing in it with plenty of frogs. Also had a pile of mattresses stacked outside.

My husband and I stayed here for a K State game. Our stay here was decent. Location was good, it was quiet despite the amount of people who seemed to be staying. Felt fairly safe! It was pretty run down but this was expected due to the cost! 2 beds, small fridge and microwave were in the room. Water stayed warm for showers and clean towels provided. Bed sheets seemed clean and TV worked. AC worked well also. Overall it was a decent stay and we would probably stay again for an overnight trip- if we wanted to stay here any longer than just sleeping we probably would have not chosen here, but it served its purpose and the front desk staff was very nice and helpful!

So pictures should be updated. This was nothing like the pics shown on the booking sight. The bed was clean and swallow you soft. The door to the room did not seal all the way the deadbolt did not work. We put the chair in front of the door. This not a hotel it's a motel and it's surface hanging on. There was hair in the bathtub and the on the back of the toilet where the seat attached. The toilet itself sloped to the wall and is barely attached to the floor. Food down the wall all by the microwave and did I mention the hair hanging in the fridge. The pics portray locking wood flooring but it had nasty carpet in the bed area. Now let's get to there's no coffee pot and it said they offer breakfast so we thought oh good coffee boy were we wrong there's a note taped to the breakfast area door

I've stayed in some pretty run down motels before but this one is probably the worst. I can handle outdated but it was filthy, there were stains all over the walls and the mattress had stains, the walls are paper thin and you could hear everything that happened on both sides of us. The rooms had things that had been poorly repaired. The heater/AC unit had bugs in it. There was a gap at the bottom of the door. I could go on but please please stay somewhere else. Especially if you have kids! If this is your last resort, sleep in your car. It would be cleaner, quieter and warmer!!!
