Customer Reviews
I hardly ever bother with bad reviews but this was too much. Reserved through their website and paid extra to get a higher Seattle city view room and at check in was “upgraded” to larger room without asking, which looked northeast away from city over not good area. No coffee makers in room, just instant and a hot pot, Toilet didn’t flush on day one and they fixed it while I was out, but stopped working again and when I went out on day three asked to be fixed while I was out all day, not fixed, so no toilet in room morning of final day and had to use lobby. At checkout insult to injury $15 per day plus tax for mandatory “destination fee” put on my card without prior notice. At this price Hilton should do better.
Positive: The decor. Beautiful, eclectic, interesting in the common areas and the rooms. We were in town for a concert at the Neptune Theatre. It was right across the street! Negative: ""
What a fun gem of a place in U District. Comfortable, clean, spacious, funky decor, a great coffee shop in the lobby, and a rooftop bar and restaurant with terrific views. Super friendly service - shoutout to Luke at the front desk- and overall a great experience. My only constructive criticism is when you only have two elevators, fixing the broken one has to be top on the priority list. :-)
Oliver and Amani the Valets were SO kind, patient and professional! Sam at the front desk and his cohort were lovely and very helpful. Things I loved : decor, location, service, food and craft cocktails at the roof top bar were incredible as well as the view. I love the staff, service and cleanliness here and it was a good value for money.
Rooftop venue (the mountaineering club?) is good, but staff are awful. Everything from the lady in the lobby stopping you from entering without a physical id (no pic, no Apple digital id) rather than just telling you that you can go and not drink since they can’t verify your age, to the server not knowing the drinks on the menu or any non-menu drink options available. It feels like the kind of pretension from a venue that thinks they’re good and therefore can treat patrons however they want.
