The wedding facility was lovely, and the main lobby offered a beautiful photo opportunity. However, the stay was marred by several issues: no heat in the room until maintenance could arrive the next day (they just gave us extra blankets), a very small and dated room, a shower that wouldn’t drain, and extremely limited parking with no handicap spaces (other than a garage a block away). Though we enjoyed the wedding venue we would not recommend staying in the hotel.

Pros: great location, cute decor, big suites, 2 king beds Cons: heat didn't work, shower temperature never got above lukewarm, maintenance was not helpful When we got into our room the heat was off and it was 50 degrees. Hours after turning the heat on, it still had only gotten to 57. There were 2 units in our suite, 1 was blowing warm air and the other was blowing cold air. After calling the front desk, they sent a maintenance tech that basically said there was nothing that could be done about it, the issue was building-wide, and gave us a space heater. I had to send my husband down to the lobby to ask for extra blankets because it's not safe to run a space heater while sleeping and it was below freezing outside. Positive: Nothing Negative: It smelled, had stains all over couch and pillows, the AC didn’t work and soaked the carpet. Parking garage next door starts jack hammering work at 7:30 AM

​An absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. I was here for a very special occasion, and the staff—specifically Lea Sunaz at the front desk—went above and beyond to make it perfect. She was amazing to work with and helped secure a Presidential Suite that made the entire weekend unforgettable. ​The hotel itself is stunning and full of character, but it’s the high-level service from people like Leya that sets this place apart. If you want a ‘Presidential’ experience in Providence, this is the place to stay. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Leya and the Graduate team!

This hotel does not disappoint providing a wonderful aesthetic and amazing historic atmosphere. However, there are problems with the building, which are understandable due to the age of the hotel. We checked in and the heat was not working in our room. We were moved and upgraded to a suite with no problem- it seemed to be the only warm place in the hotel. However, the rest of our stay was one little inconvenience after another and the staff was not very understanding. Outlets not working, heat in the fitness center not working and many machines out of order, iffy water temperature and pressure, filthy air vents, etc. The aesthetic of this hotel definitely comes at the cost of comfort and some basic expectations.
