Customer Reviews
This place is way overpriced. Though it has some nice amenities, such as a pool and beach (lake), the accommodations do not live up to the price with horrible beds, outdated kitchens and unfriendly residents (owners) who do not appreciate outsiders staying at the resort. For large families, this is an okay meeting place for a reunion, but there are so many rules you might end up being fined for having too much fun.
This place is small and lovely but all the cottages are older. We enjoyed the lake and the kayaks, canoes and rowboats available free for guest use. The lake is beautiful but very small (and very deep). The pool is nothing special but there is a pool. Our cottage #18 was spacious (two bedrooms); however, we must caution that it is old. Unfortunately, the mattresses upstairs (two full beds) should have been replaced 20 years ago.
There is no service. This is a great rental. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Cottage 21 is able to sleep up to six people. Close to Saugatuck, Douglas and Holland, MI Great options for food.
This is my first year staying here and I cannot wait to return. The cottage is so spacious and homey. Every one of my family members got their own bath, face, and beach towel laid on our beds. The place is fully stocked with dishes and cutlery, mostly anything you’d need for cooking, as well. The beach is just a short walk away with plenty of kayaks and a canoe to boot!
Stayed in Cottage #22. Very clean and inviting. Lots of room inside the cottage and didn't feel like we were on top of each other. Loved the wood burning fireplace and screened in porch. The cottage had pretty much everything we needed for cooking (pots and pans, glassware, utensils, some spices, etc.) Even had freezer, sandwich bags and foil. Also were provided extra towels (bath and hand) which was a bonus. Loved all the decor in the cottage. The lake views were beautiful and we caught many fish right off the dock. Took the rowboat out one day and did more fishing. Very quiet on the property which was nice. We loved our stay and will definitely book again.
