Glamping at Laurel Oaks

I was invited (by a very pleasant personal greeting) to tour this wonderful new "Glamping " facility. Although in the early stages of operation, the tents and furnishings are of the highest quality. Each area has a nice separate shower, sink and toilet. Also a firepit, hammocks and corn hole. Also there is a gas grill and small fridge. I didn't ask but I am positive there is alot more here to enjoy. Looks to me like all you need bring is food and a toothbrush! Highly Recommended!

What a joke. Tried to visit to check it out. Big steel gate is locked. Called 5 times and left a message. Never received a call back. So called campground is located in the middle of a housing developement. Don’t believe the other reviews, probably the owners friends.

This weekend, I had the pleasure of staying in the yurt at Laurel Oak Estates with my husband, 4 year old, and puppy. It was the perfect quick get away! We spent the day playing corn hole, ring toss, frisbee, and exploring the trails. They also have a paddle boat you can take out on the water. That evening we grilled out, roasted marshmallows, and sat around the fire. They also have a portapotty and shower house with hot water. The property is so peaceful and feels secluded, but is within minutes of restaurants and grocery stores. Highly recommend for a family or romantic getaway!

We love this place. The owners are super nice people. The property is beautiful for a quick get away. We have been 2 times and plan on going again. Totally worth it for anyone who just needs to relax and unwind.
