Customer Reviews
Absolutely loved this cute hotel!! Very easy to get to with lots of restaurants and bars near by. Also easy to hop onto the subway. Like 3 min walk. It has a very cozy, old school New York vibe combined with a mountain feel. The hospitality and service were fantastic. The hotel was very clean and easy to navigate. Anything I needed, the staff was extremely helpful. ROB and BEN at the front desk were THE BEST. Like I cannot brag on them enough with their personality and genuine helpfulness. Highly recommend!
Really enjoyed my stay. Those working the front desk were kind and attentive. When I needed some feminine products, they had some sent to my room without any questions! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is great - right around the corner from the Fulton St stop or a short walk to Wall St.
The hotel is old and very dark inside - but generally clean. Due to the age of the building, the bathroom was very basic and only equipped with a shower curtain. The rooms are extremely small and not comfortable enough to spend any real time in. This hotel is definitely not suitable for people with allergies. The air conditioning system was not only loud but also blew dust into the room and had a musty smell when in operation. Unfortunately, using the air conditioning was necessary, as the room became too cold otherwise. The best part of the hotel is the very friendly and helpful staff — they were consistently polite and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was included in our rate, but the selection was very limited. We would recommend booking without breakfast and eating elsewhere
It was a busy time, and the hotel looked very full, but the staff worked efficiently to satisfy every client. Rooms are spacious by NY standards, and are clean and tidy. Breakfast was good (one should make reservations to avoid a long wait). The Gym(s) was tiny (two tiny rooms on two floors) but functional. The friendliness of the staff left us with a lasting impression.
The staff was way more accommodating than we anticipated. The food was amazing. The hotel was in a great location; close to subways, walking distance to South Street Seaport. It was very quiet. Recommended to us by my husband's nieces who have been frequenting the hotel for 10+ years.
