Gather Inn

We stayed for 3 nights. Our hosts Melanie and Canaan were delightful and extremely helpful. We were meeting our sons who were hiking the AT. Melanie was very understanding and accommodating when our plans changed and we needed to adjust our dates. Rooms were clean, spacious, well thought out and lovely. We took advantage of both the brown bag option and fresh breakfasts. Both were delicious! We would definitely recommend the Gather Inn and would certainly come back again if we are in the area!

After a last-minute change in hiking plans, we needed a place to recover. Surprisingly, the Inn was able to accommodate my sons and I late at night. Melanie was very kind and offered a wonderful room that was comfortable, clean, and well furnished. The Inn has a cozy home away from home feel, and breakfast the next day was fantastic. We ended up staying 3 nights and will be back. I highly recommend this great place to gather.

The Gather Inn is a beautiful Inn conveniently located near downtown Millinocket and close to Baxter State Park and Kathadin Woods and Waters. Mel and Mark were amazing hosts. The Inn was impeccably clean and the rooms so charming. Our hot breakfast was delicious!!! It was a perfect "get away" for our summer girls hiking trip. I cant wait to return! Maybe next time we will enjoy the winter sports that the area has to offer.

Gather Inn is my new favorite place to stay in Millinocket. With Baxter State Park and the North Maine Woods just down the street, and local restaurants nearby, Gather is in a superb location. The rooms are quaint and charming, reminding guests that B&Bs have that home-away-from-home feel. Gather Inn is exceptionally clean and updated, with mini splits in each room. The living room invites guests to relax after a long day of hiking or fishing. Waking up to the smell of fresh ground coffee and frying bacon assures you that the food is fresh, real, and made with love. We arrived as guests, and left as friends. Truly one of the best kept secrets in Northern Maine.

I can’t say enough good things about this inn. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well decorated. We could control our climate as each room is equip with its own heat pump. The inn keepers treat you like your family. They happily greeted us upon arrival, and throughout our stay, made sure we were happy and comfortable.
