Gateway Lodge

We had a great stay at Gateway Lodge in Rifle, Colorado. The staff was absolutely amazing—very friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The breakfast was delicious and exceeded our expectations, especially for the price. The hotel offers excellent value for money, making it a perfect choice for travelers who are just passing through and want a comfortable, clean, and welcoming place to rest. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The hotel was easy to find and had a fun, personable man running the desk the entire stay which was a nice welcome.|| The room was large and had a lot of space to it, and had a table, desk, nightstand, dresser and a decent sized fridge/freezer which are larger than the standard small beer type fridges, also a microwave. Walls were accented, but could have been made nicer with some local heritage prints on them or something.|| The bed was comfortable and had no issues sleeping. One side had a table with outlets in the lamp to charge phones, etc.|| Bathroom had the standard amenities. Outside the bathroom is a very long sink counter, so you can store a lot of stuff on that counter.|| Ice machine is actually behind the building in the housekeeping corridor it seems near the laundry mac

Adriana was very nice and professional managing the hotel. Room clean, internet worked, nice big fridge and powerful microwave. Hot water and good size room. Right downtown so can walk the cute streets. All important stuff when we travel. And did I mention a very nice breakfast. Thanks.

Positive: Very friendly reception with a parking space reserved for us when we arrived after hours. Room was excellent for the price. Negative: The breakfast could use more healthly options (only sugary cereals available) and I think the eggs were powdered. But the selection was large and the overall breakfast area was nice.

We had a great stay at this little hotel on our way back to Denver from Moab. The property owner clearly takes a lot of pride in her place, from the flowers to the Halloween decorations to the large amount of breakfast options. It’s walkable to things as well. We stayed with two little kids (2 &6) and would definitely stay again!
