This place is great. The rooms are clean, the price is what you'd want to pay, and it's next to many eateries for a quick bite or sit down and relax. The owners and staff are excellent. Always polite and courteous with the intention of making their guests feel as welcomed as possible. Will be coming back for sure. Thank you, Gatesville Inn.

The rooms have mold all in them and it made me VERY sick. The sheets are only changed and washed once a week. He claims that the towels are washed daily, but they don’t look nor do they smell like they’re being washed. I had to get a wash rag and pour a bunch of my shampoo in the shower to clean it before I would get in there. Everything is filthy. The mirrors, the dresser, the nightstand. There is food and trash left in there, and there is food stuck on the wall. It is extremely disgusting. The sheets were so filthy each time I stayed there. I pulled the comforter back up and went to my car and got a blanket and laid it on the bed, and I slept on my blanket and covered up with another blanket of mine. That is not healthy. Excellent service, excellent rooms, peace and quiet

Have stayed here twice. Rooms neat and clean. Appears recently renovated. First visit was unplanned and just a stop on a long trip. Checked in late (around 10pm) without a problem. Management very nice and accommodating. Second stay was planned with my son that I was driving back to the Air Force base in San Angelo after Christmas leave. Same good experience. No bugs, hot water, and a comfortable bed. Close to food and shopping. For a small, locally owned motel, it was above any expectations. Will definitely stay again if my travels take me through Gatesville.
