Gaslamp Quarter

A cool historical spot in downtown San Diego. There's a bit of everything in terms of food, some cigar bars, and souvenir shops. The downside is the amount of homeless that roam around there. I've walked pass a guy doing crack right on the sidewalk, witnessed drug deals, and seen some of the homeless harass people walking around. If San Diego cleaned up the homeless population, this would be an easy 5 star location.

Everywhere you walk it smells like pee, and honestly I don't think it's the homeless. So many residents have pets that they walk downtown, it's like a pet litter box. Parking sucks and get ready to pay $40 for the smallest spot almost guaranteed to get a new ding. I understand the draw to downtown and it could be so much better! Come on San Diego get it together!

It's so many eateries and fun people to enjoy! We didn't stay until night time when they close off the streets so cars can't drive through the area. We eat Taco El Gordo and Louisiana Purchase in the Gaslamp Quarters. Plenty of hidden gems in this historic area of San Diego.

Love the area great day and night life. Lots of vagrants but lots of police so I wasn't worried. Tons of bars restaurants and clubs. Worst part was the lifting sent of poo......it was everywhere.

A MUST have absolutely AMAZING five stars! Pictures don’t do it justice! If near by stop in you won’t be disappointed! We went as a group and tried so many things from steak to seafood and as you’ll see! Check out the mushroom best way to end a great meal
