Garrisons River Resort

Been going to Garrisons my whole life and won’t go anywhere else if I’m planning a trip Buddy’s had a raft with a hole in it, staff showed up with a new one in a realistic amount of time, security is cool to talk to and karaoke is always a great time. Will be back hopefully more than a couple times this year

There was 9 of us in the Hidden Oaks cabin. It has 4 bedrooms with Full size beds in each room, you would need to bring fans for the summertime because there’s no air conditioner in the back rooms. The front room has a window we went in September. It was very nice. There is a lot that has two full-size beds up there and we had a couple stay in the loft. It has a full-size bathroom , there is a nice size refrigerator and microwave and sink and fire pit. They had karaoke going, which was fun. All the people at the office and the ones who set the wraps out for us were very helpful. The campground is clean nice and very roomy. We will be going again to float with Garrison river resort

Our first experience at Garrison River resort. Everyone was friendly very nice campgrounds karaoke on the weekends. We stayed in hidden Oaks. It’s labeled as a 12 man house. I believe that only 9 to 10 people could stay in there comfortably. The only complaint we had was we did not have hot water in our cabin for the shower. I would recommend this campground.

First let me say that running a resort is probably pretty rough so I get how things could get away from you, however: The description for the cabins (at least 4 and 5) is not accurate. It says there is a double bed and a couch on the floor. There is no couch, and the bed situation is not good. The bed is very low and only 2/3 of the mattress is supported the rest just hangs off. The loft is difficult to get into. Bungalow 1 was ok, but the bed is pretty high, a bit difficult to get into for shorter or larger people. Half or more of the showers and toilets in the ladies bathhouse at the main office and the one near the cabins were out of order. The showers are coin opp and it takes at least a dollar to get enough water to get a decent clean. My shower never got hot or even warm. It was IC

We came down for the fourth to spend some quality time with our kids. We had an issue upon arrival and the staff went above and beyond what we expected to make sure we were happy with our stay. The location is great too. Close to the river and everyone is super friendly. It's pretty family oriented and we were wanting that. Fireworks were great too!
