Garner Hotel Mahwah by IHG

We really liked our stay here. The bed was comfortable a d the heating /cooling was very easy to use and responsive. The bed was comfortable. The room was really cute, I loved the coat hooks right by the door, so handy. The included breakfast was nice, hot eggs and a protein plus some breads, oatmeal and yogurt. Really great stay for the price. Staff was very friendly as well!

Positive: Value. Though a bit older everything was clean and well maintained. Negative: The fire safety doors for the stairwells were propped open. I would close them when I went through and find them propped open the next time I returned.

This was a great stay. We stayed 4 nights 5 days and was very pleased all the way around. The hotel looks to be new. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was pretty good too..We'll be back every time we visit New Jersey..

This is my first time in the U.S., and this hotel was very nice. My priority was cleanliness, and I found that in this hotel. The breakfast is very basic, with only a few options, but it was still good for me and my family since my kids love cereal. The room is very nice and has been renovated, which I like, but it doesn’t have a fridge or microwave.

This hotel is newly renovated. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Please note that none of the rooms have refrigerators! There is an ice machine on the second floor though. The breakfast was ok- bagels, that sort of thing, but we also didn’t expect anything out of it. Location is very good—close to gas stations and close driving distance to restaurants. The fitness room was undergoing renovation on July 30 but we were told that it would be reopened very soon. Overall, I found it a good one night stay.
