Garden Inn

Everything in the tiny bathroom was covered in urine, poop crumbs, "hair", and dirt. The mirror was broken. The fridge and microwave looked like a crime scene. There was actually trash in the drawers and shoved down the drains. There was blood and "fluid" all around the bed. The chairs too. All the walls were splattered with mystery substances. The carpet was crunchy and sticky. I thought we were being punked.

Our stay was memorable for all the wrong reasons. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls, carpet ripped and torn, floors dirty, walls dirty, the shower barely worked and it was so gross I wouldn’t even get in it. We were told there was a “breakfast bar.” It was a cereal bar. The only reason I gave it two stars was the price. Do not make the same mistake I did. Go elsewhere.

Will not return. Hair in tub was not ours, pee on the floor around the toilet and dirt and hair on the bathroom floor. Carpet was not vacuumed. blood stains on the dust ruffle and nasty crusty stuff on the curtains. Used piece of soap under the new bar of soap in the shower. Toilet was broken and barely secured to the floor. You about fall off. Mold on the walls. Front desk staff hanging with a gentleman guest is very unprofessional. Everything about this hotel is dirty. Water was hot though.

Worst hotel Ive ever stayed. Rude receptionist. Run down! Ive stayed 2x because its one of the only hotels in Newcastle. Both times hairdryers didn't work! When I called the front desk and told her the hairdryer didnt work she said "not my problem" not her problem..isn't that what front desk receptionist is for to take care of things like this! This place is dirty and run down!

Poor housekeeping. Pee on the toilet dirt in the drawers and under the mattresses, no mattress covers. Only two towels in the room three people when ask guest service for an extra towel we were told no only two were allowed per room. The coffee was good though.
