Furnace Creek Resort

Expensive if you are staying at the Ranch or Resort, but camping is quite affordable and very nice.

The tagline is the middle of nowhere, that's accurate. It's like being at a baseball game or a concert, the food may be good but it's overpriced... If you were anywhere else. It's the only place for gas or anything within 50 miles. There's a golf course, shuffle board, tennis, Borax Museum and pool. If you are wondering how they keep a golf course green in Death Valley, one of the hottest places on Earth, they don't; but they try really hard. New buildings are under construction and should be ready Fall 2018. They do have some interesting features for those people who like conservation facts. They have a large solar panel farm and their own water treatment plant. They also have plenty of recycling The rooms are comfortable and the air conditioning cold.

Beware of bed bugs!!! Two rooms in the 600 building had them. Also the food in the ranch buffet is awful: served cold, extremely salty industrial food. I understand these people have a monopoly, but they totally overcharge and they do not try very hard to serve decent food.

Not that great place.. it’s expensive.. but you have no choice.. staff is ok.. food was good !!! Just beside the furnace creek visitor center!!! Easy to find !!

상당히 오래된 시설이었다. 너무 더워서 그래도 쉴 수 있어 감사했다. 가격은 적당했다. 숙소 앞에 넓은 잔디밭이 있었고 수영장이 있어 좋았다. 몇 개의 가게와 옛 흔적을 볼 수 있었다.
