Frio River Vacation Rentals

I've rented with them twice. Both experiences were very good. The second stay (Tejas House - 2025) was nicer than the first stay (Branding Iron - 2022) even though the accommodations were similar. Tejas was newer, cleaner, better maintained, and had a better layout for our group. The check in/out process was easy. The house amenities were great! I'd stsy in their rentals again.

We want to post here and thank the gentleman who kindly drove to the office on Thanksgiving day and gave us instructions to our rental place. The place isn’t even with their office but he came to help us nonetheless. The office is very clean and organized. Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving!

Not our first time with FVR. First time at this property. Everything is so beautiful. Pleasant stay! The best part for me was enjoying the music outside. The only thing I would change, is hold the 🐝, I was told it's 🐝 season. We shall return 2025, God willing.

Stayed in a cabin last year no complaints about that. I rebooked for a future date. They claimed they would call me to take payment at a later date. They never called back. I will not be using this company for any future vacation plans!

I left a review directly through Frio River vacations regarding Heavens canyon and they never published it so take all the great reviews with a grain of salt since they do not publish the negative ones. Now for the review of Heavens Canyon rental. FRVR charges you to clean, but the cabin was dirty when we arrived. Hair all over the shower walls, chewed gum left on entry table. Rice scattered all over the pantry. Discussingly filthy washing machine. The burners on the stove were left off, and you could see how dirty it was under the top panel. I called and asked if we could use the stove and i was told it was fine to use, the girls forgot to them back on. Well they forgot a lot of stuff. One burner literally could not boil water, but it caught fire. The stove in this cabin is a hazard. The
