French Creek Inn

We arrived Thursday afternoon around 1:00. Our log in information had been sent to us to get into the building & our room. First thing we noted was the dumpster overflowing in the parking lot. We gained entry inside which wasn't bad at all. Made our way down the hallway to the room. We reserved for one room with 2 Queen Beds 3 people. NOPE we had 1 double bed & a couch from the 1970's (NOT PULL OUT). Thank goodness we packed an air mattress. The smoke detector was obviously busted in the ceiling. The bathroom door molding around the door & the door jam were both BUSTED from the inside out so that when you were on the toilet or in the shower you had no privacy because the door was sprung & no latch. Management at this place is running a scam, if they need a room they will take your room and give it to someone else, even if your booking for the room has already been confirmed||I booked 2 nights at this hotel through Booking.com. Service was lousy, no one was at the hotel and it was impossible to reach management regarding any problems. Safety was a great concern for me since there was no one present there at night. Kiteville/ French Creek Inn management lied to me about not getting paid for my stay there. Booking.com confirmed my payment. They gave my room to someone else even though my booking was confirmed, and my card was charged $192.00. Management at this hotel is running a scam. Guests need to be warned about this.

This place definitely exceeded my expectations. I came to the building, honestly creeped out, but it was met with amazing receptionist, who was very helpful. The room is a 3 because the walls were kinda/ very dirty, but the room wasn’t bad, could use a paint job. The beds were so comfy, clean, same with the pillows. The sink was nice, the bathroom in my room could use a fix, but the water pressure was great. I honestly have no complains. The AC, worked wonders, the flooring/ carpet could be fixed. But for the price of this place, you’re getting more than what you paid for. I most definitely am coming back. Thank you French Creek.

The staff was super nice and helpful anytime we interacted. The price was fine for what it was. The location was only a few minutes away from family, so it was ideal. There is no vending so definitely stop for items before you arrive, there is a good sized refrigerator in the room. The rooms, unfortunately, were not as great. The bedding was clean and the basic necessities were there. The bathroom area was definitely needing quite an overhaul (they did say they will be updating soon). The bathtub was very slippery and could use some type of gripper tape or something. The carpet could also use replacing.

First they lied about the beds said they were king sized but only doubles. Paid extra 50.00 dollars for cleaning and rooms were dirty. No ice, no refrigerator, only one wash cloth. Will not stay again.
