Freehand Miami

IMy stay was in the 4 bed room (women only). The room was a bit tiny but clean. The only thing that bothered me was the noisy air conditioner.

This was disgusting. We paid $410 for a private king room. The room itself was dank, smelly, and kind of sad. The whole facility had a flop house kind of feel. We were shocked we had paid this much (nonrefundable) and were forced to go through with the stay. We tried to make the best of things and have a drink and meal at the restaurant. It only got worse from here. It was a hodge podge of sad slumped and lonely travelers lolling about, anxious young twenty somethings trying to look cool, and resentful waitstaff hating on everyone. The service was actually aggressively rude and in the end we were obliged to offer up a non-consensual 20% gratuity. It felt really invasive honestly. I guess I am saying just don’t stay here. You’ll regret it.

I had a very disappointing experience at Freehand Miami. I arrived on Friday, December 12, around 6:00 PM after more than 12 hours of travel. Finding parking was extremely stressful—there were no available spots on the street or nearby paid lots, and I had to temporarily stop my rental car with emergency flashers on to avoid a ticket or towing.||When I entered the hotel, there was a loud party with music so intense that getting any rest was impossible. To make matters worse, there was no one at the front desk for 10–15 minutes. When a staff member finally arrived, I asked about overnight parking and was told only street parking was available. I was directed to a nearby public parking lot, but it only allowed parking for 1–3 hours at a time, with free parking only between 3:00 AM and 9:00 A

The receptionists are AMAZING, you barely have to say anything they understand the issue et fix right away. I booked twice the same night by mistake and Dana helped me process a refund in no time, she’s great. The rooms are clean, everything looks exactly like the pictures wich is not always the case with hostels. I booked only one night until i saw how it looked and then i booked another 3 nights as soon as i saw, great location, highly recommended especially for that price! will definitely come back, thank you!

Love staying here! perfect for a solo beach getaway or bathing with my friends before the FriendShip cruise. Clean, friendly, vibrant and fun! This particular trip, Dana at the front desk really came in clutch. I made a last minute reservation and arrived well before check in. Dana let me get into my room early and made several accommodations for me as a solo travelled just for the night! She was kind, funny, swift and very welcoming!! Freehand is always a must 🙏🏾
