Customer Reviews
It is only about a mile from downtown Fredericksburg. The roads are not very bike/e bike friendly. The park staff are very friendly, and helpful. The park is clean and well taken care of. The spots are kinda small, but well groomed. The only setback I could see about the park was the surrounding properties. They are like construction sites or something. If you are "lucky" enough to get a spot in the back of the park by the pond. There is an air compressor on the neighboring property that cycles on and off. It is very loud, and kept us up all night, every night we stayed. 😞
We stayed at this immaculate campsite for one night only, but the experience was five star. Very peaceful, within walking distance of Fredericksburg, and with super clean showers and restrooms, free ice for the guests, and a charming lady who runs the site. We appreciated the trees for shade, and can highly recommend Sunset Grill (16 minutes walk) for a perfect breakfast.
Fredericksburg RV Park is an excellent place to stay and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The customer service is outstanding, friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful from the moment you arrive. You can tell they truly care about their guests. The park is very easy to access, even with a larger rig, which makes arrival and departure stress-free. The location is perfect, close to downtown Fredericksburg, wineries, and local attractions, yet still quiet and relaxing. Everything is well maintained, organized, and thoughtfully laid out. Most importantly, the people here make the difference, professional, kind, and always willing to help. Highly recommend Fredericksburg RV Park to anyone visiting the area. We would absolutely stay here again and confidently recommend it to
WiFi was non-existent and we weren’t able to get any help (holiday time), even though I got a text from someone saying they’d stop by but never did. The “dog park” is by no means a park of any sort. It was a small, approx 36’ x 12’ area. Sticker burrs are everywhere on the property. We had a pull through spot and it was spacious but 2 problems… 1) the sewer inlet and water outlet is at the front of the parking spot so we had to go buy another line. We’ve been RV’ing for many years but this was new. 2) the trees need to be trimmed because we had to back out or a limb would’ve taken out our awning if we would’ve pulled out normally. The bathrooms & game room were very clean and the property is very nice. The best was a beautiful koi pond on the back edge of the fenced area where we were g
Our stay was so peaceful. The RV sites are well maintained and spaced. There is a recreation room with foosball and a pool table. The bathroom,/showers are very private and clean. We would definitely stay again.
