Frank L Motel & Aquatic Gardens

On a quick winter get away with my boyfriend to the coast, I stayed at the Frank L Motel and found it to be a great price with a very nice staff. Sure it wasn't a fancy-pants place, but I was happy with the warm room and easy access to sights. The room was clean and quite spacious. The folks that own the Frank L also own a drive-thru joint near the docks where we got a great fish and chips meal for 20% off with our key. Everyone was so nice to us. I'd very much recommend this place for folks on a budget that don't need a lot of "frill" where they rest their heads after a day of exploring beaches. I also appreciated the small-town family-owned feel of the motel. I like knowing that my money is staying in the community. Only wish we could've stayed longer.

I used to stay at this little motel when I went to Westport, but a year or more ago they informed me that they were not really renting rooms nightly any longer as they had monthly renters in most rooms.||||The place is small, family owned and OLD. The rooms have always been clean but the place is clearly in need of a remodel. But it's cheap too!! The staff is helpful, friendly and accommodating. ||||We were wanting the visit and to see the sights, and have an inexpensive place to sleep while in town, and it was more than suitable for that purpose. In fact there was a small "kitchenette" where we could cook and keep food and cold drinks!||||I don't know what was up with the lady (Moulyn58) that left the awful review? Never stayed here but lived close by. They should clean it up a bit. It looks worse then the Travel Lure in Aberdeen.

My girlfriend and I had planned a 4 week vacation and made plans to stay in Westport Wa at the Frank L Motel. Now being able to surf the internet is a handy things and from all the writings from the Chamber of Commerce and other reviews one would be under the impression that Westport and the Frank L were for one a thriving community and a great place to stay. WRONG on both accounts. ||Upon arriving in Westport ( well once you got through Aberdeen which isnt much better) we noticed first off how run down and empty the town was. There was NOTHING! NOTHING to do, NOWHERE to eat and NO ONE to ask any questions. The town is dirty, empty and personally an eye soar. ||Getting to the hotel wasnt hard it is located on an empty street across from the bay which would be nice if in fact the

Westport is not that bad.and I'm sorry your trip was crappy.you just stayed at the wrong place at the wrong time! Try the first motel on the right hand side as you come into Westport. Tell the owner his daughter recommended you. I guarantee you will enjoy your stay this time.the Frank l has been there a long time and can use some TLC.but the owner is very nice. It's great at the beach if you have a guide.. Hope you give Westport another try .
