Mariners Cove Inn

I'm always a little skeptical to stay in a motel over a hotel but I would stay here over and over. Check in was a breeze. They left the screen windows open so the room felt amazing walking in. The bed was comfortable. It felt homey. Very relaxing. I didn't shower on my 1 night stay so I can't speak on water pressure. Wish it had been a tad bit warmer so I could enjoy a cup of hot tea in the chairs outside the room in the morning. 1000% would recommend.

We're so happy to stay at Mariners Cove Inn as oppose to ALL the AirBnB's in the area. Great location and fabulous people own it. We'll be staying again soon!

We were a little disappointed at the size of the motel. The pictures don't give the full scope of how big it is or its age. We were also disappointed there were no English-speaking staff on hand.||The website says the motel is attended 24/7. We arrived a little after 1pm but noticed the front office was not manned until 2pm. (If a guest wishes to speak to someone, the person must call a phone number posted on a notice taped to the front door window.) I had a question about checking in early so I called the number. No one picked up, therefore, I left a message. The call was returned in 15 minutes by the owner, I believe. She said I would have to return after 2pm. We left and returned about that time. After 2pm, there was an English-speaking man on duty that also takes care of the grounds. H

We stayed in room 8. It was clean and smelled nice. The shower had great pressure and nice hot water. But the topper was the kings size Tempur-pedic bed. And the amazing pillows! My husband and I slept for 12 hours and woke up with no pain. That is huge for us. We really enjoyed our stay.

The room was really clean, bathroom was also very clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Location was also good. Couple of bars close by, Pine Tree bar has good food. There is a Mexican restaurant/bar across the street. Don't know about management never seen him or her in my 3 days there. What l liked was no stairs to climb too get to your room. I will stay there next time I'm in Westport.
