Four Winds Motel

As soon as i was done paying for the room, I walked into the room, looked around, and walked out. The room smelled like feet. There were blood drops on a pillow, and what looked like a splatter of a bloody sneeze on the wall outside of the bathroom. There were hairs and grime in the shower, didn't even lift the toilet lid because I didn't want to touch it. I left in fear of getting bed bugs, fleas, or some kind of infection. On my way out, I noticed there was a hole in the door about the size of a bullet, cracks in the walls and windows, and what looked like mold on the window. I tried to contact management to tell them i wasn't staying and i needed a refund. They wouldn't answer the doorbell at the office or the phone. 👎 This place was really really dirty it shouldn’t have a star. There was blood on the floor in the bathroom. Hair all over the shower, sink and the bed the pillows and cases had stains all over same with the washcloths and towels. It had an awful smell in the room and the office of this place smelled really bad. The guy at the desk I’m assuming owner or manger was unprofessional. The house keeper will keep whatever she want as well. Really just a terrible place and just dirty. Would not recommend this place to anyone! 👎

I booked my trip 5-6 months prior to going to Depoe Bay with 4 Winds Motel. I clarified my trip. I received confirmation 3 days before driving down that the reservation was still booked. I called the day before just to triple check. There was no answer all day. I left a message who I was, and I was clarifying the reservation. I left my number if they needed to contact me. No response, so I figured everything was good. I take the 10- hour drive with my sister. Still no call back that there were any problems. I get there and the manager tried to play it off that there was no reservation and it was a expedia scam. When we started getting upset, he then played it off as a joke but still maintained there was no reservation. Then he pulls two tickets with my name on it with the 2 room

24 hours into my 3 day stay, and I feel it's safe to say the four winds in Depoe Bay is a gem of a find as well as of the Oregon coast. The parking makes for easy unloading and loading; the location right across 101 from waves crashing against the rocks and the shore along Oregon beautiful Pacific coast; microwave, coffee in room, fridge with separate freezer; clean carpet, large comfortable bed with nice pillows, heat; clean, with space and a table that can be used as a desk; the price is so unbelievable I had to double check that it what I paid online. Compared to more expensive options such as motel6 which now offers zero amenities not even shampoo for a stay in a place with orange interior that feels more like a lobby than a room I'm tempted to just to move in entirely, Four Winds Depo
