Channel House

The room was high quality in all the ways that really matter to me. The bed was luxurious, the pillows were perfect, the water pressure rocked, and the view was spectacular. The soaps/ lotion provided all smelled so good. Tv and hot tub were easy to use, self explanatory. The location of the hotel could not be more convenient. Everything you could need or want is within walking distance. It was so relaxing to stay here, I really wish we didn't have to leave! All that said, the room really seemed like it had seen better days. There was obvious damage and wear. I would still stay here again, though.

Fantastic unique hotel. The location is great, literally looking out onto the ocean. Right at the channel to the harbor, so fun watching the boats come in because the channel is quite narrow. Seals were sitting on the rocks in the channel the whole weekend. When we arrived, we went to dinner at the brewery across the bridge. The next table pointed out to us some orcas, they were right in front of our hotel. Even from across the bridge we could see them clearly. Unfortunately we never saw any other orcas or whales the whole weekend.||We stayed in the Bridge room. I think this room probably has the most private jacuzzi tub area. There rest of the balcony is small but that was ok. There room has a separate living room area from the bedroom. ||The location is great, could walk to eve

This review is based on other comparable hotels in the area. For accomodations in Depoe Bay, this one is a great choice. Their location and view is excellent, truly is no other view quite like it. The amount of whales we saw from the comfort of the bedroom was amazing. We stayed in a corner whale watching suite. The room was very clean. It did look like they had made recent upgrades, such as the shower, granite countertops and beautiful slate stone fireplace. The one downside is that our bedroom wall backed against another rooms outdoor tub. At midnight on our second and last night there, the guest nextdoor was filling their tub and for the next hour we couldn't sleep as they were talking and listening to music loudly. Channel House is an incredible little inn. The innkeeper was super friendly and helpful when we checked in and our room was very clean. The views are stunning, saw a couple whales right from the Jacuzzi tub!

We had an amazing weekend at Depoe Bay and a lot of it had to so woth the amazing room at the Channel House. We slept with all the doors and windows open all weekend and really took in the ocean air. Great view, good size rooms and good housekeeping and front desk services.
