Four Points by Sheraton Brunswick

Quick overnight stay. I called while on the road & the phone connection had a lot of static. I called back, same thing. I ended up booking online while I was driving there. Walked into the lobby at 730pm on a Friday & no one was at the desk. Waited, waited, waited.. no one. I called the # to see if someone would answer from a back room - no answer. Finally, someone strolled from the back area. The room was just ok. You could see they tried to update the bathroom cheaply, but it was not a good job. See photos. No free continental breakfast in the a.m., which was disappointing after paying $175. In the a.m., there was complimentary coffee, which we tried to pump from the thermos, but it was empty. We decided to leave & on the way out, I told the front desk person that the coffee was empty.

Wonderful staff to include reservation manager of the hotel,Shawna,the desk check in, Moneras(sp?) and Kimberly at the bar. Food was perfect for a quick bite to eat after traveling all day. The chicken wings and pretzel bites were delicious. The room was nice but the bathroom was old and small but it worked for our one night stay. As a Marriott member, the price was under $100. For the night and they gave me reward points for staying at the Sheraton.

Positive: It felt pretty luxury (leather chair in room, gym was nice) and everything was kept clean. Negative: No free breakfast, something I usually take advantage of, but also not that important.

Overall, dirty room. Shower needs a deep cleaning. Mold inside and out of it. Busted walls, patches all over that don’t match, damaged furniture. They don’t take trash, make beds, replace cups. We never used the coffee pot and yet it was dirty, ew. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Definitely needs new management.
