Foothills Lodge and Cabins

We traveled to the Foothills Lodge and Cabins last Christmas (2016) and we loved it. It was simple, but clean and owner was helpful and friendly. The value of this place cannot be beat. We arrived before check-in time and were told we were welcome to change into our ski gear in the room (even though the cleaners were working in the room). This was so helpful and the cleaners were kind and accommodating. The electricity went out the last night we stayed and we were advised as to the problem within minutes and it was resolved within 30 minutes. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great! We stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. I would give 5 star but there was mouse poop in the pan below the stove...not a major deal i own a house too it happens. But also the hot tub started loosing heat in the late night, maybe we left the cover off too long. But we were really enjoying relaxing with no kids and staring at the stars with not much light pollution. So it was easy to keep in the tub, just not powerful enough for the 40 degree night temp I guess.

We recently stayed at the Foothills Lodge and Cabins for a family wedding. I booked online about 9 months ago, paid in two payments (easy enough). I received updates and reminders along the way (easy). Rented out the Goat Cabin for a long weekend, very reasonable price. Service was WONDERFUL--this is not a fancy place to stay so if you are looking for the Ritz, move on. Clean (thank you Alexis and Michelle!!!), early check in IF available (thank you Christy!). Checked in on us to see if towels needed to be refreshed, well stocked kitchen consumable products and hot tub towels, too! Again, thank you for the wonderful stay and hospitality, ladies!!!

Specifically rented and paid extra for the Fox cabin that has a hot tub because my wife and I came up just for the weekend to relax. My back has been giving me fits so I thought that soaking in the hot tub would be nice. Hot tub runs for 3 minutes then trips the breaker. Tried contacting the "management" only to find out this place is managed remotely. And they continue to say they are "working" on the issue but it's an out of state corporation. The only on site employees are those that clean the rooms. If you like to have good customer service, this is not the place you want to stay. This type of business management shouldn't be in South Fork. Denver maybe. But not South Fork.

Great little cabin to stay in. I love how it was furnished with plenty of towels for all the guests. Great location. Thank You
