Is the property nice, in an amazing location? Yes. Is it priced like a 5 star resort? Also yes. Is it a 5 star resort? NOT EVEN CLOSE. If you are going to charge what they charge for everything it better come with the 5 star treatment. Misses the mark big time in this catagory. Long lines for food/drinks, painfully slow service at 2 of the 3 restaurants we ate at there. Missing drinks, and food items. Having a lunch reservation, showing up on time, and waiting almost a full hour before food was brought is wild. 3 hours for dinner..... Long check in lines. Rude security staff. Very nice property and clean...but I can't get passed the 5 star claim, and 5 star prices, with the service and quality of 2 or 3 star. I will say, upon arrival, the bell guys were great.

Distinctly average - heard good things about this iconic hotel and wanted to check it out. We had a room in the Versailles tower which is essentially one of the conference towers of the hotel - no atmosphere, no real vibes and far far away from anything. ||Reception staff were miserable - functional but that’s about it. ||Room service meal was poor - although swift and the staff here were lovely.||For the price and supposed reputation, it was poor. ||Glad we ticked it off the list but shall not be staying again and wouldn’t recommend it. ||If you love average food and average service and vast conference hotels, for alot of money, this is one for you. We preferred the super friendly boutique Betsey down the beach, which is lovely retro Miami vibes.

Positive: The Location and the amenities were very nice. Negative: The Hotel Staff was not professional. The Room that we stayed in was very old and dated. The hotel is being renovated but if you reserve a room outside of the Hotel, They put you in an Older room that has not been renovated. The reviews must be old.

I stayed at Fontainebleau Miami Beach for a real estate conference and it was such a great experience. What I loved most was how everything was either inside the hotel or just steps away. It made the entire trip seamless and stress-free. There are so many great food options, fun bars, and inviting spots to hang out throughout the property. The atmosphere is lively but still upscale, which made it perfect for connecting with friends and networking during the event. It was incredibly convenient to move between sessions and social time without ever feeling rushed. Overall, a fantastic place to stay — especially for conferences or events!

Beautiful but very very expensive. If I were to go again I would stay at best western at beach. Room was just as nice and more affordable. More quiet. Fontainebleu is for rich people. No coffee maker in my room. No alarm clock in my room and my phone broke. Coffee at shop downstairs $8.
