Float Palm Springs

Unlike the big cheap chain hotels this place has some soul, albeit threadbare. The good: quiet, clean, comfy bed, pleasant remote staff, units have a kitchen, good hot water, pool and hot tub were nice, grapefruit tree made a nice pre-breakfast. The bad: nowhere to get food or drinks super close, its a bit shabby & cheaply built w/ threadbare non matching towels,hollow doors, super low showerheads, etc. But if you've got tolerance for that this might be the best cheapest option around. I'm giving it 4 stars considering its low price for the area

Positive: It was quiet. Friendly staff. great location. Negative: Sadly, the place is rundown. The spa was broken, our kitchen was poorly equipped. Dirty out in the courtyard and pool area.

Definitely a hidden treasure! It is located in the very quiet area. The rooms are spacious they can use some upgrades and some maintenance. I would replace all cookware. The pool is open 24 hours a day. You'll definitely have a comfortable stay at this place. There's a lot of potential in this place.

One of the worst hotel experiences. My girlfriend and I had to evacuate LA, came to this hotel thinking it would be at the very least clean and normal. Nobody works in the front desk, self check in, really feels like a wild west AirBnd, stayed for three nights/days and only saw one hotel worker. My sheets were never changed/bed never made, no room service. Nobody works in the front desk. At night, a large group of people basically threw a party right outside my room for hours, playing music loudly and screaming. I tried calling/texting the hotel people, nobody got back to me, stayed up from 1am to 3:30am trying to sleep.||The sheets were old, stained, some with blood marks and very old looking bed sheets. Fine, we pushed through. Then tried working remote here. WiFi is terrible, barely sta

The photos online are unfortunately very misleading. The courtyard and pool area are very outdated, our room smelled quite musty, and check-in felt sketchy (we never even met any hotel staff). The jacuzzi was lukewarm, our toilet ran constantly, and the bed was a combo of very old boxspring mattress with a very (too) soft mattress topper. It was clean enough that we didn't feel we needed to leave and find somewhere else, but we weren't necessarily comfortable here.
