Lovely stay, easy check in, the hotel gave us an option to check in early for a small fee. Super clean and very spacious. Our view was phenomenal, and considering the large windows there was barely any noise from the outside. The hotel graciously provided two sets of ear plugs regardless but we didn’t need them at all. The beds and pillows were also very very comfortable. Had some reservations about it being a self check in kind of hotel, but the response time over the phone is very quick and there was always a manager around. The location is perfect. 100% would stay here again.

AVOID! Security, safety issues and NO accountability from Sonder (Marriott). ||This place is a joke. Door to my room didn’t lock, so I couldn’t leave the room when I wanted- there were no staff anywhere for hours. I missed a meeting because of their negligence. Someone entered my room without consent, I asked for do not disturb sign they didn’t have it- I had to make my own. TV wasn’t set up had to contact support AGAIN. $1,500 for 3 nights and terrible experience. All Sonder did is gave me $200 in CREDITS and zero accountability. I’m never coming back- I don’t need credit! Very unprofessional and rude customer service via email and phone. Avoid at all costs.

Good afternoon, My wife, Claudia Domínguez, made a reservation at the Hotel Flatiron in New York for the dates 27 November to 1 December 2025, paying a total amount of €966 on 25 January 2025. A few weeks ago, we were informed that the reservation had been unilaterally cancelled by your side. However, to date, we have not received any refund of the amount paid. As this is a significant amount of money for us, we kindly request your urgent assistance in managing and resolving this refund. We attach the documentation as proof of payment. We look forward to your prompt response.

This shouldn’t be considered a 4 star hotel. The walls are paper thin, the bathroom was TINY, the curtains don’t keep light out of the room at night, and there isn’t 24/7 front desk service. You can hear everything from the person next to you and street noise. There are no hotel keys; you have to use a passcode for the elevator and for your door. The most positive thing about this hotel is the central, safe location. The room itself was a large room for NYC other than the small bathrooms.
