Fitzpatrick Grand Central

Great location, great staff, super clean! I took the train into Grand Central and the hotel was a very easy 5-10 minute walk even with a roller abd backpack. Checkin was SUPER quick and staff was very welcoming. Staff was super friendly and very attentive. Huge difference between a boutique hotel like this and the big chains from that perspective. Rooms are on the small size like most in NYC, but I e been in smaller. Bathroom was renovated recently and I appreciate that. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Nice area too! The Wheeltapper pub is 2 doors down but interestingly has an entrance right from hotel lobby. Loud Irish pub and restaurant with good energy if that’s your thing. I went out early for coffee (restaurant not open yet) and asked gentleman at front desk if he’d like coffee. He said

Our stay was October 12-14 2025. Spacious room with two queen beds, very comfortable for a family of 4 with older kids 16 and 12. Plenty of walking room, ample desk space, very clean, tasteful sophisticated decor, great bathroom, windows with a view. Customer service was amazing. They were short staffed and our room was about 2 hours late being ready, but they were incredibly helpful and very polite. To make up for the wait they gave us a free dinner for four including drinks, and a large discount off of the room price. The original price was good for what we received, and an incredible deal with the discount. Our family enjoyed the older character of the decor in the lobby it gave our stay a fun feel, we appreciate that more than a cookie-cutter main-branded hotel. Great value, fun locati

Once again we chose to return to our Fitzpatrick Grand Central. Our home away from home in Manhattan. We enjoyed four great nights, made possible by the special rates for the booking.|Check this one out on the website!|In every way our accommodations were simply perfect for us..|We appreciate the extremely quiet room and the spacious bedroom & bath. Cleanliness is always of the highest standard. Must also mention the extremely comfortable bed.|Arriving through Grand Central Station we discovered the great food at Tartinery. My wife loved the avocado toast and I thoroughly enjoyed the lentil soup. Healthy choices for us. Positive: Location. Very close to grand central station Negative: Very small lobby area. Entire hotel did not feel like a 4 star hotel. Have stayed in much nicer hotels for less price

We spent New Year’s in NYC and, as always it was absolutely amazing. This was our third visit to New York and our second stay at the Fitzpatrick, and once again we couldn’t fault a single thing. The staff at the hotel—and in the Wheeltapper—are truly second to none and work tirelessly to make every stay special. Natasha, we loved your stories and how effortlessly easy it was to chat with you. Phoebe at the front desk, thank you so much for the complimentary drinks—they were very welcome after a long journey. And a special mention to Jesus, our driver, who came highly recommended by the Fitzpatrick and quite rightly so. We’ll definitely be using him for airport transfers on future visits.
