Fitzgerald's Motel

When I called to reserve my room, I immediately had a great feeling about the place... And then, when my wife and I checked in, we knew within seconds that we would be happy to stay here, and very happy to come back in the future. We felt comfortable right from the beginning. Eugene and Margaret have been EXTREMELY friendly, the rooms are CLEAN and well stocked. The location is an absolute MUST for those that want to enjoy the downtown walk, with all it's sights. 1,000,000,000 stars out of 10...... Would stay again and recommend to all.

Fitzgerald's Motel Downtown Wisconsin Dells July 2005 our 1st stay our previous stay July 2025 we did our research for the most reasonable price Lucked up on this Motel .We wanted the largest room that's available with a refrigerator and microwave. The price was right in my budget upon our very late arrival we were accepted and given the key to our room OMG everything was so beautiful neat clean smelt clean. We even had Crisp clean bedding linens. The owners Margaret & Eugene and staff are just amazing Love appreciate them.

I enjoyed staying at the Fitzgerald’s Motel in Wisconsin Dells, WI on August 30, 2025 (room #35). Their unique guest service started with my first call when I recognized the human voice. Margaret answered politely all my questions and I received accurate information about the place before I placed my reservation. I liked the fact that they respect one on one interactions because people (like me) still want to have the ability to talk with a live person and the don’t need to red old reviews( some extremly subjective) and look at old photos of the place. Upon check-in, I had to show my valid photo ID,( that this is me) and I didn’t pay Resort Fees( and I save some money). I would like to share my experience at Fitzgerald’s Motel. We are a family that loves to travel, and this time we chose Wisconsin Dells as our destination. I asked a few friends who also travel a lot, and they recommended this motel to us. We immediately decided to go.||I want to mention that we didn’t call ahead to make a reservation—we simply went straight to the office. As soon as my family and I walked in, we were welcomed by the beautiful décor in the office, and then by Margaret, a person with a warm heart and a kind, gentle voice. After a short introduction, we explained what we needed. Wonderful owner, very friendly and accommodating! We stayed in room 40, it is on the second floor. The king size bed was damaged on the left side, very uncomfortable and hard to sleep on, it should be replaced. Pillows are quite flat, so bring your own if that bothers you. Room has a very tiny fridge and microwave, no table to eat at, but a small coffee table with a lamp and 2 upholstered chairs. AC works great, plenty of dresser drawers, bathroom is old school and clean. Reminds me of staying at my grandparents house, cozy, and safe. Close to everything, walk across the street to restaurants. I will stay again!
