Fishtrap Resort

I’ve been coming to Fishtrap resort for 17 years. Love the lake and have been in cabin 2 for all but one year that I was in cabin 3. The cabin has always been clean and comfortable and the improvements made over the past couple of years has made cabin 2 even better. I’m hoping to come back next year for my 18th year to continue fishing for muskies which is kind of my obsession.There is also a boat launch at the resort which is convenient.

My boyfriend and I spent a week at the resort in cabin #6. Best place ever!! The cabin was super cozy and comfortable!😍 It comes with your own dock on the lake and the view is absolutely gorgeous!! It is super quiet and only a few miles outside of Boulder! I will definitely be coming back for many many years to come!!!! ❤❤❤

Stayed in cabin 7 during our recent trip. It was a beautiful home with a great view. The resort is far enough to feel secluded yet close enough you won’t mind making impromptu trips into Boulder for some Mad Dog Jake’s ice cream. We saw deer almost every trip into and back from town. Even saw the albino deer a number of times. The air conditioner had issues when we were there but it happened to be the week they had unusually high temps. The resort manager, Mike Miller, was great to work with. Very friendly from our first phone call planning the trip all the way until we left and beyond. Would recommend staying at the resort.

Beauty surrounds but it's not really a "resort". There is one if those inflatable tramps in the water and a shared fire pit with plastic chairs for guests. Charcoal grill, no gas. Back deck facing water but you can't get down that way, no stairs on deck which we thought was strange. House was beautiful and log cabiny. Gas stove, microwave, oven, toaster oven, toaster, 2 coffee makers, full-sized fridge freezer. King room and 1.5 bath on main with 2 Queen' rooms upstairs. Two additional singles in loft and full bathroom. No beach. Dock for this house, you'll have to walk to in front of other cabins. Strange but not too far off a walk. Parking available. Saw an albino deer on the way to Boulder Junction and eagles on the lake. Caught Bass, Walleye, Crappie. None too big and we fished all da

Excellent cleanly cabins to relax after a long drive up. The cabin that we are staying in was remodeled by the owner and it has a whole wall sliding glass doors to look out at the lake during the evening sunset just wonderful views.
