Eagle's Post Resort

We rented the Riverview (3 bedroom) and Sunset (2 bedroom) cabins, clean and very roomy, dog friendly and room for them to run. Flat walk to the pier/water, kayak and canoes for us to use. Nice piers for our two boats, great wildlife viewing, fire pit was a plus. Close to town even thought we had no reason to leave, biking and hiking trails very close by and Albino deer! Cooked dinner every night, kitchen well stocked. Friendly, kind owners (Jim and Kathy) that made the trip even that much better. Will be looking to book next year and highly recommend.

Jim and Kathy were great hosts. We had everything we needed and then some. Jim helped us with gas and charged batteries for the boats so we could stay on the water all day. Fun place to relax and fish, highly recommend for anyone looking to experience the northwoods lifestyle.

Wonderful place! This is a little slice of heaven in the Northwoods. Could not have asked for a better stay. We had the Sunset Cabin. Not your typical cabin experience. Jim and Kathy took care of everything we could possibly need. Highly recommend!

If you like the northwoods and enjoy fishing and nature, this is the place for you. The cabins are quaint, built by the owner within a beautiful setting along the Fishtrap lake and Manitowish River. Quiet and serene. Excellent rates, beautiful sunset and sunrise. Bring the kids or yourself back to God's Country and enoy life as it was meant to be!

We had a blast here! Such a special hideaway. Owners were friendly, accommodating, and laidback. I’ve spent a lot of time in Boulder Junction, and we’ll definitely be returning to this spot! Cabins are up-northy, as you’d expect, but you’re going for the views, company, and relaxation—this spot has all of that, and WiFi which is an added bonus if you have to keep tabs on work life.
