Fireside Inn & Suites

This place is shit. Workers are shit. Kicked us out 2 hours before checkout. Tried charging us $150 for dirty sheets. I swear to God. The people that run this place have no respect for the common person. Door latch broken. Screens broken. I pay 132 for one night? Wow. Literal their place is shit.

Everyone was super kind. When you first enter, you are brought back to the 90s? There's a cigarette smell coming from the bar. Rooms aren't amazing but the beds were comfy! We just needed somewhere to crash for the night. Our room had two queens and we stayed with our pup. The kids enjoyed breakfast. We were too tired to go to the bar and use our drink vouchers. It's a better hotel than your first impression.

We spent several nights here during a short trip to the area. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the room clean, comfortable, and quiet. Guests are offered two free drinks and a complimentary supper each evening, along with a free morning breakfast. A very nice gesture! We had other plans, so could not avail ourselves of the evening goodies, but we did try the breakfast. Unfortunately, it was not all that good. Tepid scrambled eggs, potatoes, and sausages served out of a crock pot didn't really meet our expectations and we took our breakfast elsewhere the next day. However, the rooms and friendly staff certainly merit a try to the traveler seeking a nice, welcoming place to spend a night or two.

Judy the manager is awesome! Very nice, clean rooms. The light supper and two free drinks is an added bonus! Dog friendly and great location
