Haybale Heights Campground and Resort

I had to cancel a reservation I made due to one of the guys I was going with was going through health issues. When I made the reservation I was told to send a $300 check for the deposit. I did and they cashed it. I canceled over a month in advance and according to their website you receive your deposit back minus $50. I never received anything back. They never answer their phone. They want to communicate through text messages. Sent numerous texts and messages on their answering machine. Totally ghosted me.

We came to visit family and ended up staying in a two bedroom cabin. It was very clean and well appointed and slept the 6 of us comfortably. Same price as two hotel rooms but so much better at the campground. Staff was amazing to deal with too.

We booked a 4 night 3 day ice fishing getaway with Haybale Heights. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The guides were fun and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to make sure we caught fish even when they were not really biting. The heated SnoBear was comfortable and the guides moved to different spots to find fish. The owners are personable and very nice making sure we were comfortable and having a good time. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great winter fishing trip. Perfect for gifting, employee reward, family, friends....

We have rented cabins here for many years. They are nice, with all basic needs supplied. While the campground is only seasonal camping no overnight, there are many amenities for kids and a good boat ramp. The place is run with a very friendly but hands off approach, as the family runs a large grain farm too. Ice fishing in a Snobear is great too!

Great cabin with internet and cable. Even better fish cleaning area with fish grinder. No flies or smell. I would recommend Haybale Heights.
