Finger Lakes Inn & Suites Bath Hammondsport Area

UPDATE - After we posted the review on Oct 4th (further down) we received a message from the hotel apologizing and reporting that the credit would be made and would take 5-7 days. I just checked and our credit card has been credited the $112 so I have changed from 1-Star to 2-Stars. Although this hasn't happened to us before, mistakes do happen. I would have given 3 or 4 stars if the credit had been made in a timely manner after one call instead of six. Oct 04 - My wife booked this place months ago because we were attending a wedding nearby on the first Saturday of September. Weeks before the one night reservation, since we needed a bigger room for additional family members we had to cancel the reservation, well within the time period NOT to be charged anything. Booked this hotel for 2 nights to go to a wedding in Hammondsport. When we arrived and checked in on Friday they wanted to charge me nearly $200.00. When I told the clerk I had booked and paid through Booking.com he said he had no record of that. When I showed him the email confirming by CC payment he did something with his computer then said everything was OK. The room was clean but the hotel is being used for a residence for non transient people. On Day 2 the TV quit working properly and then there was not hot water. My wife and I could not shower to get ready for the wedding or to leave for the next leg of our trip on Day 3. I asked for a partial refund and the desk clerk said he could not handle that but gave me a card with the manager's email address. I emailed the manager on

the exterior and interior horrible. the room looked ok and updated. the first room i was given the lock would not open. the second room there was hair on sheets so obviously the sheets had not been changed. the third room was no better. ended up stripping the bedding and using towels to sleep on. Worst hotel experience of my life. if it hadnt been for the fact that the room was non refundable I would never had checked in

Staying at Finger Lakes Inn & Suites was a wonderful experience for me and my team at Lakefront Mary. The location is peaceful and close to beautiful lakes, which made it perfect for our work and relaxation. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained exactly what we needed after a busy day on the lake.The staff was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and check-in/check-out was quick and smooth. I also appreciated the easy parking and good Wi-Fi, which made it convenient for managing our lakefront projects online. Overall, it was the perfect combination of comfort and value. Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the Bath ammond sport area for leisure or business. We’ll be happy to stay here again on our next trip!

Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The first room I was assigned the lock was malfunctioned. Second room they gave me had hairs on the sheets. Third room I wasn't convinced the sheets had been changed so removed the sheets and slept on towels. The elevator and hallways are awful. I was afraid the elevator would stop working. lobby smelled like weed.
