Fairmont Olympic Hotel, Seattle

Beautiful hotel. We did afternoon tea here, and both the service and food were exceptional! From the moment we walked in, the staff treated us so nicely and made us feel welcome and comfortable. Cassie and Shelby provided the best tea service ever, with the perfect amount of conversation and friendliness, walking us through our service with attention to all the little details. They were able to accommodate my allium intolerance, and the food was amazing. Even the substitutions were exquisite. The roast beef sandwiches and carrot tartlet were my favorites. I can't wait to go back in another season and try some other dishes!

Stayed at the Fairmont Olympic over Christmas with my family and had a wonderful experience. The holiday decorations and ambiance were exceptional, the Christmas dinner and breakfast were delicious, and drinks in the Founders Lounge were excellent. Service was fantastic throughout, and the Teddy Bear Suite was a unique and memorable touch. I also loved the sauna, hot tub and gym. Hotel location is perfect for a morning waterfront run. An outstanding place to stay during the holidays. Special thank you to Pauline Suryana who gave us great recommendations and is a wonderful ambassador of Seattle and the Fairmont Olympic Hotel.

First time at this hotel. Our company held a large sales conference there. I was a participant and stayed for 4 nights. I was extremely impressed with all aspects of the hotel. Visually stunning, classic charm, and the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on! Great job!

We had two rooms reserved for the night; an annual trip with my father. This was the first time I remember being disappointed in our many visits to the Olympic; I was married here in 2013 and it’s a very special property to me. One room was not ready until hours after check in; we didn’t receive a call back from management when we were promised one and no notice as to the room being ready, instead we had to go to the desk after dinner to ask again. We were offered a drink voucher for our trouble which has always been a perk of membership in the past but not offered upon check in this time. The attention to detail in the rooms and the service was sorely lacking as compared to our many years of experience at this hotel.

★☆☆☆☆ — Request for Management Review I’m leaving this review because my Valentine’s stay did not reflect the standards expected from a property of this reputation, and I would appreciate management reviewing what occurred. I booked the romance package and had difficulty reaching concierge prior to arrival — calls, texts, and emails largely went unanswered while trying to plan. At check-in, we waited 47 minutes with no acknowledgment or apology. We then missed our dinner reservation because valet informed us retrieving our car would take about 30 minutes. When we returned for assistance, concierge was closed and the front desk offered minimal solutions. A manager converted a $50 massage credit into a hotel credit and suggested room service, which did not resolve the situation. The room
