Fairfield Inn Erie Millcreek Mall

Positive: The rooms were beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. Negative: Best hotel breakfast ever. Fantastic scrambled eggs; fine restaurant quality, nothing at all like the usual pile of slop hotels serve for breakfast.

Nice clean facility, competent staff, decent breakfast, conveniently near the Mall and Interstate 79. TV, WIFI, fridge, microwave, etc all good, good shower and products. Rm 325 located at end away from Ice machine and elevator so nice and quiet except for the rowdies above me. Good bed and linens. Only note would be that the fire doors were all propped open next to the signs stating they must be kept closed.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel because of its location. We wanted to be close to the mall and other stores to do some Christmas shopping. The hotel was clean and quiet. The room was comfortable. The only thing we didn't like was the size of the refrigerator. We could only get a couple of bottles of water inside of it. Our leftovers from our dinner would not fit in it.||Breakfast the next morning was very nice. The area is well laid out so there wasn't a traffic jam where everyone was waiting to use the toaster or waffle iron. There was a very nice variety of foods. I especially liked the oatmeal where there were various toppings to choose from. Overall, a very nice stay.

Clean comfortable and quiet rooms. Breakfast was ok. Front desk staff was good but the perhaps the guy checking us in was having a bad day. Location is good for shopping and dining. Hotel starting to look tired in spots but overall decent stay for the price.

My family and I were driving back home to Canada and had planned a brief stop at this hotel. However, after an extremely long drive, we were forced to make a last-minute decision to stop elsewhere nearby due to severe weather conditions that made it unsafe and unbearable to continue traveling with our child and two dogs. Given the circumstances, the staff showed little to no empathy and were unwilling to make a reasonable exception for what was clearly a one-off situation beyond our control. Although they stated they “understood,” their actions did not reflect that. I booked through Airbnb and maintain a 5-star rating, which reflects my reliability as a guest. I could understand a strict stance if there were concerns about my history, but instead the staff made it clear they would not co
