Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Tulsa South Medical District

Bargain hotel but poor experience. No hot water for a shower. Then no water at all. Room smelled. Bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast wasn’t stocked. I stay in a lot of hotels. This was probably the worst I’ve ever experienced at a Marriott property.

This was our second time staying here since it’s so close to my family, but I should’ve learned the first time. |The first time, we had to ring the bell for like 20 minutes before an employee p opped up. No apology, just annoyed that we’d rung the bell. The next morning, this guys friends ate all the breakfast. ||This time, we stayed and again there was no one in the lobby when we checked in. They had removed the bell. I called the hotel multiple times and just listened to the phone ring. I even went back to the office and it was empty. A girl with a name tag came in about 10 minutes later and we eventually got checked in. She appeared to be very high. |And forget about finding anyone for towels or water. Overall I give them a one star. Location was great because I needed to be close to Saint Francis South and it only took me less than a minute. Unfortunately Customer Service for overnight shift needs MAJOR improvement! Checking in the young lady working the desk was GREAT! She was fairly new but helped out with so much in such a little time. She was compassionate, kind, and very helpful. We get checked in on Jan 8th 2026 at around 6. P.M. after getting checked in we go back to the hospital until 12:20 A.M. when we arrived back at the hotel, where my day got flipped upside down. I was not able to sleep and felt uneasy about staying there. Staff banged on our door at 11pm waking us up because the morning staff had accidentally checked us out even though we had a 3 night stay! (Couldn’t you had called instead of rudely banging and shouting at the door!) Never had that happen before. So startled I couldn’t go back to sleep and staff hardly cared. Had hoped to be our go-to hotel while visiting family, but will keep looking!
