Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites San Diego Old Town

Positive: The cleanliness and friendly and kindness of your staff. Your breakfast is delicious. Your swimming pool is perfect for kids. Negative: The water pressure in the bathroom sink was very low. The high cost of parking your car in your parking lot.

Like other reviews, this hotel did not feel like a Marriott. ||Cleanliness - The hotel hallways and room weren’t clean. It felt like we were staying in a motel. The carpets were dirty and ripped. The curtains had holes. The ceiling was so low that even our kids could reach it! Plus, the ceiling had holes in it. The tub was creaky. When you took a shower, it felt like the tub was going to cave in. The bathroom smelled like sewage. There wasn’t any place to hang our wet towels from our shower. We had to hang them in the closet. ||Space - The room space was incredibly tight for four. There was minimal walking room. We had to use the desk to place our luggage. ||Safety - The area did not feel safe at all. ||Parking - The garage’s clearance was way too low (5’8). Getting an SUV or truck in/out

The Fairfield Inn and Suites San Diego Old Town boasts an exceptional location, offering convenient pedestrian access to Old Town. This area is notably secure. Directly across from the hotel's rear entrance, guests will find El Agave Restaurant & Tequileria, which provides an authentic Mexican dining experience in a delightful setting. While the hotel property itself appears to be older, the room offered a reasonable level of comfort. The furnishings, however, are dated, and the bed was unsatisfactory, featuring a noticeable depression on one side, likely from previous guest usage for television viewing. The breakfast service was commendable, with the attendant maintaining a pristine dining area. The room itself presented a clean appearance. As a frequent Marriott guest, I offer this asses

Perfect location and walkable to downtown! Very clean and comfortable stay, free complementary breakfast. Really enjoyed how close it was to everything and the freeway. Conveniently located near all of the shops. Reasonably priced and the parking situation was easy and a lot of parking. Refrigerator, microwave, tub and smart TV. Our room has a balcony, but honestly, the fact that it led right out of the street it was great. The only downside was the customer service at the front desk as a young lady checking us out had a really bad attitude problem.

I must say that this place is one of the best spots to put your feet up and watch the game.some times it could get a lil packed in the TV room but its all good very kind people and service was outstanding. There doing some remodeling at this location so be careful. Over all great evening thank you so much I really hope to stay with you guys soon.
