Stayed here for 4 nights at Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites New York Manhattan/Chelsea and it was a comfortable, convenient choice — easy 4 stars overall. The location is fantastic (5 stars): at 116 W 28th St in the Flower District/Chelsea border, you're steps from Herald Square, Macy's, Empire State Building (short walk), Madison Square Garden/Penn Station nearby, and major subway lines (1/2/3, B/D/F/M, N/Q/R/W at 28th/34th). Super central for Midtown exploring, High Line, Chelsea Market, and 5th Avenue shopping — easy walking or quick transit everywhere without being overwhelmed by Times Square crowds. The moment I came in earlier than I expected as my trip went very fast, Imani was very accommodating and welcoming. I told her I need to deposit my luggage as I have a 1pm Tea Around Town and also I need to chance clothes and she offered me to change at the lobby restroom which is very nice of her. She said she will block a room for me so when I’m finished with my Tea Around Town with my friend, the room will be ready for me. Room was clean and location was nice, mostly walkable to places I need to go. I have checked in with this hotel before and it’s nice to be back.

We had the pleasure of interacting with Imani both over the phone and in person. She offered exceptional service. She was extremely helpful in assisting to find eateries, entertainment and parking on Friday. In addition, we were trying to find a restaurant, mall and another Marriott property we had stayed at a year ago but did not have a clue of the locations or names. However, that did not stop Imani she listened as we explained what we remembered and she was able to not only point us in the right direction but pulled up the exact places on her phone that we had been looking for! We are eternally grateful for her kindness, knowledge of N.Y and helpfulness. Every Marriot property should have an IMANI because she definitely is an great ASSET to the team!

Room was decent and enough space for business travelers. Breakfast was basic and more than one would eat at home. Room rate however was very high so don’t feel like his value for money

My partner and I stayed at Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites New York Manhattan/Chelsea from 29 December to 2 January, and we were disappointed with several aspects of our stay. Upon arrival at approximately 1:00 PM, we were informed that we needed to return at 3:00 PM, the official check-in time. When we returned at 3:00 PM, we were asked to wait again, and it was only after 3:30 PM that we were finally assigned a room. During this process, the reception staff were not particularly helpful or communicative, which added to the frustration after a long journey. Additionally, on 1 January, our room was not cleaned. When we contacted the front desk to request housekeeping, we were told that the housekeeping staff had already left for the day and that cleaning was no longer possible. This w
