Your generic Fairfield Inn in a good location, predictable service and room quality and a cute little cozy bar and sitting area in the lobby. Customer service is generic/predictable/binary to Fairfield Standards. Few things - can YOU please stop playing loud trashy American pop music in the lobby area! I don't want to feel I'm at Wet Seal or Marshalls and struggle to even have a phone conversation, especially when you don't have a dedicated work area. This is awful, not sure why American hotels insist on playing junk pop so loud.:) Second, small issue ... But the coffee/hot water is consistently out in the lobby all 3 days. Third, why are you serving prison food for breakfast? The quality is legit bad. It's Holiday Inn bf but lower quality. I'd say pretty bad. Heard a comment from some

This hotel is very safe. Everyone is very accommodating, and they go above and beyond to answer all of the questions you have. The service for the rooms are quite good. They dont give you a lot in the rooms (soaps and toilet paper) and you have to be really specific to them on what you want. Overall, its very very safe here (security in the elevators and all around the hotel) and everyone is very very nice. Also, the gym is good for a hotel gym. There are weights and cardio machines and they offer water in there. If you have a specific workout routine, you may need to bring your own stuff to accommodate yourself.

Whilst one of the elevators was still under maintenance the hotel staff has tried their best to facilitate a smooth and organised way to get everyone up and down. The breakfast was pretty varied with multiple options. Had a lovely stay otherwise and the location is perfect

The hotel is ok as expected for a Fairfield Inn (super small rooms, understandable for NYC) and feels very safe. Rooms are clean ok, bed is comfortable. Heater in the room is extremely loud (like I read in other reviews) and the bathroom is not heated, so you really need to close the bathroom door or you will loose all room heat. Hallways are dirty, you need to vacumm better. Elevator situation is a mess (it keeps failing over and over). Breakfast is plainly bad (low quality food). You need to improve here, the cheese and the turkey breast in your buffet area are extremely basic quality. No service elevator. Hotel personnel is using the elevator all the time (adding more cargo to a failing machine) and very often they leave cleaning supplies right outside of the elevator (unbleliev

Absolutely horrible.|First of all, it is not close to Central Park — at least a 15-minute walk. The rooms are ridiculously small. If you have a large suitcase, there is literally no space left to walk to the toilet. We arrived from a ship journey with two large suitcases — moving in the room was almost impossible.|The wardrobe is a joke: about 20 cm wide, enough for only two jackets. The air conditioner is a disaster. It is extremely loud and constantly blows air, creating a strong draft directly onto the bed. Sleeping with it on is impossible, but without it the room is freezing. I caught a cold on the very first night.|Overall, an awful experience. I would never stay here again and do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
