We stayed at this hotel as it was the choice of our family for their wedding guests. First of all, during a period of construction, the room rates should be reduced and guests should be told in advance. Having the front door blocked off was a major inconvenience. Check in took a ridiculous amount of time, the construction noise was annoying. We get unpacked, and realize that our AC was not cooling. We go to the front desk, and they said they would send someone. They sent someone who did not speak English. He looks at it, tries to communicate, and leaves, never to return. We go back to the front desk, and they gave us a "complimentary" upgrade to a suite. For the money, all of the rooms are small. Not up to Marriot standards. If you are staying in a suite, that normally means more people. S
Booked this hotel for a wedding. At no time during booking or check in was I informed that the hotel was going through construction. At the check in we noticed a sign that said excuse our dust and the new mattress just in the lab. That was our first sign that there was renovations. Then the next morning happened. We were woken up by pounding hammers and drills at 8 am. Not one morning of our stay but two mornings. I paid full price but did not receive a full night sleep.
This hotel is simply exceptional!!!!! The staff, no matter in what department were always smiling, kind, considerate, and very helpful!!! We stayed for 9 nights and had the best stay of our lives at this hotel!!!! It was extremely clean!!! The breakfast offered a lot of variety and was always delicious. We talked with many of the other guests from time to time, no one had any complaints. They all loved their stay as did we!!! As most places across the country they were short handed, but you would not have known this. Daily we exchanged our trash and wet towels, this was no big deal and we did not mind doing this at all. We have no complaints!! We enjoyed our stay and definitely, positively will return!!! Thanks to all of the staff for doing such an exceptional job!!!
I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by my experience at this Marriott, specifically due to the behavior of a front desk employee named Lynn. What should have been a normal check-in or customer service interaction turned into a hostile and intimidating situation. Lynn was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional from the start. Instead of attempting to resolve my concern or speak respectfully, she escalated the situation and made statements that I perceived as threatening. No guest should ever feel intimidated or unsafe while standing at a hotel front desk, especially at a brand that claims to value hospitality and professionalism. Her tone, attitude, and choice of words were unacceptable. Customer service training was clearly lacking, and her behavior reflected poorly on the
I rarely write reviews, but First, the staff behavior was unacceptable. Employees were rude, dismissive, and acted as though guest concerns were a nuisance rather than their responsibility. When issues were raised, I was met with attitude instead of solutions. There was no accountability, no empathy, and no attempt to make anything right. It genuinely felt like complaints were intentionally brushed off in hopes that guests would simply give up. The most outrageous issue was that there was no hot water, allegedly due to renovations. This is a basic necessity, not a luxury. Yet this was never disclosed before booking, during check in, or anywhere on the listing. I had to discover it on my own. Expecting guests to stay without hot water while charging full price is completely unacceptable an
