Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Lake City

This was a beautiful place to stay! Rooms were very clean, easily located and convenient to town. Well situated to I-75 and Hwy 90. The pool and hot tub were so clean and comfortable. The best part of the stay was the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Shout out to Savannah at the front desk. She made check in easy, and even called a little later to make sure everything was good with the room and asked if we needed anything. This is the only the first time this has happened to me in 30 plus years of staying in hotels for work or pleasure. It will be the only place we stay in Lake City.

We had a large business group check in and the young man at the front desk was extraordinarily efficient, accurate, and pleasant. He processed us all rapidly, even with tax exempt forms and parking needs. Awesome job! The woman running the breakfast area kept everything fresh, filled, and clean. She was catering to the requests of some very young children and had them smiling. She created a personal feel of hospitality. The cleaning staff had done an impeccable job, and deserves a healthy tip. Room was dark and quiet at night; extremely clean; bed was deliciously comfortable with a variety of pillow options, soft cotton sheets, and soft but supportive mattress. The staff was incredibly friendly and check-in was completely painless 🙂 It is perfectly located right off of I-75-easy to get on and off. Room was spacious and quiet-even though the hotel seemed full. We got a great night’s sleep! The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. Bonus? They have hot coffee and tea all day long-even at night. We loved having that option! We would definitely stay here again. Huge shout out to the hotel staff - from the welcoming crew to the cleaning crew-great job!

Positive: After an FSU game, it was a perfect halfway mark to wake up the next morning and head home. The breakfast was really good and so clean. Negative: Not at all.

Stopped in without a reservation after our plans to stay in St Augustine turned disastrous. Desk personnel were so accommodating and pleasant and although the hotel was pretty full due to holiday travel, found us a lovely room for the night. Although breakfast was not due to start until 7am, the staff got it ready early knowing travelers were ready to get on the road due to high traffic. Amazing! Would definitely stay at this location again.
