Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites La Crosse Downtown

This hotel is in perfect location for what we wanted. I would imagine that up on the 4th floor. The view of the bridge in River would be delightful. Unfortunately down on the second floor all we saw was a steel wall. The room was very comfortable. The bed sufficiently soft and the room was well appointed. We loved the walk-in shower and the water pressure was great. The breakfast was more than we needed and had great selections that I did not have room to take advantage of. Check in and check out was a breeze and the staff was attentive.

Positive: Bacon during breakfast but all in all the breakfast is phenomenal!! Negative: Breakfast too short and no pumpkin pie during Thanksgiving

I chose this hotel because the reviews for the Courtyard across the street were not very good. Everything about our stay at the Farifield was perfect. The hotel is spotless! This particular Fairfield is by far the nicest Fairfield we've ever stayed in. Actually, it's nicer than many of the higher end Marriott's we've stayed at over the years. I didn't catch the name of the woman that was working the evening we checked in (she was from Mississippi). She was extremely friendly and helpful. She recommended a restaurant for us to try in Chicago. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were large. If I had to give a con, it would be the pool. It's really small and it was quite warm in the pool room. The pool was really clean though. Overall, this place is great. If we're ever in La C

Room has some wear/tear on it. Bathroom sink slow to drain, shower door doesn't close all the way, shower shelf cracked at supports. Everything clean, fresh/hot breakfast, good selection.

Great hotel in an excellent location. Staff is well trained. They take care of the little things that matter. I travel a lot and notice the details. Breakfast was awesome compared to other Fairfield Inns and Holiday Inn. Fresh strawberries and blueberries with whipped cream at the breakfast bar. Wow! Keep up the great work.
