Candlewood Suites la Crosse by IHG

Staff were very attentive and respectful. They did a great job making us feel welcome and worked to make our stay positive. The rooms are nice and included a kitchenette and lots of storage. The bed was comfortable and the room included adjustable AC. The lobby included free hot coco and coffee. They also have a gym including some free weights and treadmill. Good location as it’s near other restaurants and stores.

Hotel was awesome. Simple and everything I need traveling for work. Cory was awesome! I even forgot my charger and they gave it back to me when I stopped by three days later. Highly recommended!

The physical condition of this hotel is great. The building is like new, with no downsides noticed. The room was large and pleasant. Having cooking equipment is a great plus. The staff at this hotel is extremely good. They are friendly while at the same time efficient and saw to it that our needs were met. They went out of their way to make our stay pleasant.

I’ve seen some reviews that were less than flattering on here, but we thought that this hotel was delightful! We dropped my son off at Purdue, and were en route to drop off my daughter in Minnesota, and this hotel had everything we needed at an excellent price point! And we joked than it was much nicer than my son‘s college apartment that we just left! And better stocked! In addition to boasting kitchen basics, they had a full-size refrigerator, and kitchen essentials such as a colander. It really would make a wonderful long-term stay, which is what I understand that it is for, but it also made an excellent stay for just one night. Stayed for 1 night and was good for the short term stay. Spacious and clean. Kitchenette was nice. It had a glass induction stove that seemed a bit confusing to use (maybe the staff would’ve been helpful if I’d asked, but it didn’t matter since I only was staying for a night and wasn’t cooking). There was a slight, but noticeable buzzing noise from the fridge. The bathroom was ok: there’s a toilet seat cover, water pressure could’ve been stronger but it was tolerable, and few strands of fine blond hair on the shower wall that was missed. Also, there was some shaved beard hair in the bathroom drawer… not the worst thing that I’ve come across but would’ve been nice if that was cleaned up prior to staying the night.
