Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Jackson

The Fairfield Marriott inn is nice and clean my queen room was spacious. I stayed during the week of Xmas it didnt seem like many ppl there so it was nice & quiet. They have decent breakfast in the mornings, Only con is i wasnt aware of a $250 deposit due to me booking through a 3rd party Booking. Com. The lady at the front desk was very nice about it and understood my dilemma. So be aware when booking with 3rd party sites. Other then that I enjoyed my stay.

The common areas of the hotel were dirty and unkempt, especially the stairwells. After staying at this location my wife had numerous bed bug bites surface all over her body and of course the Fairfield's response was deny, deny,deny. We tried working with the General Manager of the hotel, so this wouldn't happen to others. She said she was going to provide some type of compensation, but has yet to do so nearly seven weeks after the stay. We have always had good luck at Marriott properties, but you may want to avoid this one. 0 stars!

I found the location of the hotel to be ideal and that the staff was pleasant, professional and very accommodating. Overall the room was clean, beds comfy and the room met creature comfort needs. However I found the amenities to be lacking -- no pool towels, pool unheated, not very well landscaped and the snack selection to be sub-standard and not what one would expect from the Marriott chain. Would I stay there again? Yes as I found the room comfortable. That said I might try Tru out the next time as the price point was comparable.

Rooms were clean. Counter help was friendly. Only thing I noticed was the pool could use a vacuum job and a tad warmer, as well as a few tiles on the bottom were out of place. Very comfy beds. Shower was nice and roomy. Would stay again.

Jules at the front desk that checked us in was super friendly, made us feel like welcomed. Just stopped in for one night, we enjoyed our stay. Slept well.
