Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Ithaca

Positive: Hotel employee at check-in on night shift was great! Breakfast was good as well with a great selection of drinks and food to choose from. Negative: Room was located at the back entrance of the hotel & made for constant tracking of debris inside & cobwebs. It wouldn't have been an issue, but housekeeping didn't clean this area the entire 3 days we stayed there or cobwebs in our room prior to check-in.

Great place to stop for a quick trip to Ithaca. Good rates during off peak weekends with one night being <25k Marriott points. Good breakfast genuinely good egg bites. Limited selection but can't beat free. Free parking as well so that's super nice when it feels like most hotels are paid now.

I stay here often whenever there’s anything going on in Ithaca, and this weekend we stayed for the Deck the Halls wine tasting event. This Marriott always goes above and beyond for its guests. From the moment we checked in, Tinsha and Shanel were incredibly warm, personable, and truly delivered that exceptional Marriott experience. Stephen during the day is phenomenal, always making eye contact, greeting everyone with a smile, and genuinely making sure every guest feels welcome and comfortable. The entire team consistently reflects what hospitality should be, and they are absolutely the reason we keep coming back to Marriott properties. Truly, a Marriott experience Highly recommend!

I had a great stay here overall. Check-in was quick and cordial. I had a 4th floor room, toward the back on the side facing downtown. The view was not scenic: A Mexican restaurant with an ugly mural, dumpsters, and what looked like a pile of building materials from a demolition. Why it wasn't hauled away ... no idea. Closing the curtains solved the problem. The hotel was clean and fresh looking with some upscale finishes. Pool was tiny. Good double elevators. Clean. My standard room was very good. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was spacious and nice. Shower water was hot immediately. Night was quiet except for regular mechanical clicks coming from the minifridge(?) Parking was easy and free. Two of four luggage carts were broken. How hard would it be to have them fixed? Overall

I know Fairfield Inn is not the most luxurious brand of Marriott, but we still love it. The free breakfast with 24/7 coffee and water is always great.
